(dpa) - In case you hadn't noticed, Germans are crazy about cars. Even if this enthusiasm has been waning among the young, the adoration of the "auto" remains closely linked to the country's national identity.
The western city of Bonn has now devoted a new exhibition to Germany's love affair with the automobile, which has been the lifeblood of the country's economy for decades.
Located in a contemporary history museum called Haus der Geschichte (House of History), which attracts around one million visitors a year, the show is titled "Loved, needed and reviled. The Germans and their cars". Read the entire article
